Update..
We purchased their water softener and whole home filter along with the under cabinet RO filter about 3 months ago it was the best decision we ever made. We live in Smithville where the water is very hard and has this weird smell that comes with it. We were dealing with this issue ever since we moved here and we purchased bottled water to drink and cook with which got pricey as time went on.
My wife has very sensitive skin Everytime she would shower her skin would be irritated and red and would peel. I do not have sensitive skin and even when I showered my skin would peel and feel irritated as well.
So we dealt with this for a while before we purchased it especially after seeing what is found in the water. (After it’s treated) So Kevin and his team came out in a very timely manner spent about half a day installing the water softener the carbon filter and the under cabinet RO system and did a fantastic job! (Unlike other plumbing companies Meyers plumbing actually cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was back the way it was.)
The difference is absolutely mind blowing not only did the smell go away the water is soft feels absolutely fantastic on your skin when we shower our skin doesn’t peel after a shower and the water from the RO system taste so pure and clean and crisp.
Also they left a year supply of softener pellets as well which is amazing! If your contemplating getting a whole home system or even just the RO system just do it. Your water quality will be so much better. Not to mention the health benefits of drinking clean filtered water and even bathing with soft water it’s pretty amazing. I will add as well I work in the utility business and if you actually knew where your water comes from and the life cycle of your water you would make this investment even faster.
